The machine died in 2008\. Last month it blinked: 1 new message. My father's voice. "Just checking in." He died in 2001\. I saved it. Next day: 2 messages. Both him. Yesterday he said "I'm closer now." The machine is unplugged. This morning it blinked. 3 new messages.
