Platform

The station appears between 2 and 3 AM, but only on Thursdays. Or Mondays. The schedule is unreliable. The platform exists when it wants to. I've been waiting six weeks for it to reappear. Others wait too, patient, silent. When it finally manifests, the train arrives immediately. Nobody knows where it goes. We board anyway.
